Time for another weekly update on Folly Times!

Captain's Log #

Same comment hehe. Still waiting for the day where I can "improve" on typing.

Outside Nitro Type #

Had an annoying case of Hay Fever from downunder for one day (Spring in Australia) (or was it "covid" hehe). Also this week, I'm getting the poke wah, hope I don't get "sick" hehe... I find it sad that IRL friends are bragging about getting the poke and photographing themselves over it on social media... I guess people need proof they are vaccinated or something hehe. (ps. I love vaccines, don't ban me big tech).

Gaming wise, been trying Persona 5: Strikers, it's an on and off experience for me so far... I might move on to another game.

Competition - Blitz #

Shoutouts ack! this week and Igor V. for the amount of races! It was so much, that I decided to award 10 minutes earlier than the deadline hehe.

Team Update #

It seems we hit 89th on the Ladder, and I have no doubt it's thanks to the recent blitz results.

But a reminder or note: If anyone is interested in Top 50 for one occasion week/month, let me know and I'll throw some of my weight in.

And lastly, I will try to come up with a Big Cash Comp by next month (it'll be a lot thanks to the sponsorship hehe).

Top 100 = More people applying #

I had a funny day moment where a bunch of applicants wanted to join FOLLY. I'm guessing only because we hit Top 100 for a few hours hehe...

I wish Nitro Type would do better with advertising other teams better. This is why I put Teams on the Other Teams Directory (don't think it's working tbh hehe)

Officer of the Week #

potato golom will be officer of the week.

HOWEVER: A new rule will be applied:

Meet your daily req to enter (min 175 races for the week)

If no one keeps to this requirement, I will vacate the spot or I will repeat the weekly officer (depending on races).

Other Teams Update #

I've added YXL to the Other Teams page. Basically a former STACL team member's new team, happened before, got disbanded etc. Please join them!

Also looking into another new ally after receiving emails numerous times about it. Persistence and the ability for me to communicate back was key.

Speaking of allies, also had a quick review on existing allies and looks like one of them might be disbanded. I'm still in contact with the captain on their chat, but I admit, I haven't been active on communications...

But I have to say: Well Done to the other allies still active! 1 million will be given to the captain on each allied team.
