Hello Silly Entities!
Time for another weekly update on Folly Times!
Captain's Log #
Same amount of racing as per usual. I manage to have some time to do the usual grind on Monday during long weekend. I plan to do a bit more for the next team event.
I had a choke moment around 155wpm+ wah... it was like my brain was telling me not to beat it because I'm not on my main account wah... I even recorded that clip hehe. I wonder if I should tell my chocolate friend to setup video editing on Linux (or install windows) and post another episode!
Folly Friend Race Anyone? Part 2 #
Last week I had one friend race invite, but sadly the speed differences were too far apart wah that I couldn't tell if they disconnected or not hehe (even went 90wpm...). Well not surprisingly that was what happened wah...
Nitro Type Stuff #
Decided to randomly watch a NT Youtube Video about Toxic NT and Botters and comment on it. My comment went a bit off topic, the main point was: "I agree and I have my fair share of quirks too" hehe...
Hate to say it, but glad I'm not on Nitro Type Discord servers anymore hehe. Maybe one day I'll come back, but for now, nah only in it for the typing game experience hehe. Maybe an apology from a certain dev for naming me: "Nitro Type Community" on my temporary Tampermonkey Script to get around the dead server issue... (hehe nah, I'm just being petty and he probably was protecting me from potential backlash ._.).
Also today I also watched an interesting video from TBZ about their team direction. I felt it was kinda similar to my current team direction hmm (nothing wrong with it! actually happy I'm not the only one).
Outside Nitro Type #
No video games for me to play last week hehe. But today... I am interested in trying out Nickelodeon All Star Brawl. It's basically a Smash Bros like game and was hoping to try it out with work "mates" :/. While talking about the game, I wonder how many reviewers are going to go mentally insane with: "OMG SMASH BROS CLONE, THE COPYCAT VERSION SUCKS LOL". I remember some reviewers making fun of Robopon: Sun/Moon/Star as a Pokemon Clone game, which it was... but geez calm down, it was not that bad of a game (apart from being a bit useless on emulators and maybe the alarm noises etc).
Website Work Again #
I've been looking at the new website design again. Was onboard with upgrading to MUI v5 for the UI framework but wah... too much legacy code needed to be updated. I'm trying to remove the "new feature" content which had me scratching my head on the design and trying to copy the current web site layout (with improvements of course).
The next annoying change idea was changing the footer to contain the Team Information content. At the moment, all that is on the home page only... but ideally I want to show it on all the pages. Again, creative block is the colors... I'm not a fan of green bg and white text when displaying Team Leaders, Allies etc.
There's so much to migrate over when the new web design is finally completed...
And no, I don't want to use Adobe XD to quickly come up with a suitable design wah... But maybe I should... wah... sobs. Until next time with this update hehe.

Team Update #
We've gone into hiding on the Top 100 leaderboard yay! But next week, I expect some more racing for the next team event (I'll be racing too!)...
Next Team Event #
I'm drafting up the rules for this event coming next week. To my benefit, I am going to make use of Nitro Type's Spooky Shop as a Team Event idea yay!
So as some players might experience: It cost near 33 million-ish wahh...
So the next team event will involve offering cash rewards to buy some of the items hehe. More to come in the coming week.
Goodbye Igor Part II #
As posted previously, Igor has left the team and is gone into hiding with pretending to be a NT AI Bot named Voltron... hehe (so it seems). I also previously mention showing the reactions from the members above the farewell moment and here it is:
Interpret those reactions as you will. We are sad to see you go and again, we all hope for the best! This is the last time I'll say: "Thanks and hope you had a Folly Time!".
Quick shoutout to ack! for offering to make up Igor's grind, but no need =).
