Time for another weekly update on Folly Times!
Captain's Log #
Same amount of racing as per usual. My hands were a bit "inactive" wah... It's like I'm already grinding when I'm not hehe.
Folly Friend Race Anyone? Part 3 #
Last week I had an email from ack! who invited me to a friend race to celebrate another racer's 10K race. I had instructions to um play nice hehe.
So I got beaten up as usual with my sandbagging at 80wpm with no nitros. For that, I got well compensated with 10 million! Thank you so much and congratulations to the racer that got 10K.
Nitro Type Stuff #
Not much to rant about, just the usual "oh look it's that Youtuber number 8 guy sandbagging at 80wpm who is too scared to race Silje by disqualifying as usual" (in reality I would get beat easily hehe).
Outside Nitro Type #
Tried out that Nickelodeon All Star Brawl smash game, it was ok, but no one to play against at work wah... To make my week worse, losing delivery parcels... (not too much value at least).
Next Week Monday, I'm getting my Poke #2... But to be frank, I hope Melbourne Cup Day gets cancelled hehe. I mean I'm getting tired of their free day off excuse and the coff blame game: "Oh it's the Grand Final that spread the coff"... ugh... But I'll shut up now, this is a typing game team website hehe.
Oops Silje Broke Something #
Haven't done the new web design and was mostly working on preparing the next big comp for Folly Times. While doing it yesterday, I noticed I forgot to update the blitz date ranges (month-wise hehe) and apparently the stats went down for that...
I was literally scratching my head as there usually isn't any problems with 1 month's worth of stat loading. I wanted to restart the database server, but nope, no such option on the hosting provider hmm. So went back to pretending to be some awesome database administrator and noticed one of my...
ahem, excuse the technical jargon from me hehe
Long story short, more indexes... I honestly thought I didn't need one but nope, I think I collected so much stat data from other teams, that I needed to optimize it again.
For now, it's working, but I don't know for how long hehe.
Competition - Blitz #

Team Update #
I expect everyone to play the comp and jump in activity on the leaderboard. We don't have to be Top 50, but I expect to have motivated members. I'm joining in on the races too!
Big Comp Event #
Today we'll do a 7 day, daily comp! The prizes will help you pay off some of the Hallowampus Shop!
We don't have any leaderboard goals, but I expect to see some more activity. Otherwise... yeah no comment hehe.
Officer of the Week #
twilight will be officer of the week! Good job with the races this week and congrats on the blitz. Don't forget season is ending this week, so do another 80 more races! Hehe.
REMINDER: There's a new rule for this position.
Meet your daily req to enter (min 175 races for the week)
If no one keeps to this requirement, I will vacate the spot or I will repeat the weekly officer (depending on races).
Ally TIPTOP disband #
During the week, I noticed TIPTOP disbanding temporarily (according to the team page). I received a "sorry" email about it and I'll let it go. But this means the first ever ally event won't be happening after all wahhhhh...
