Hello Silly Entities!
Time for a daily update on Folly Times! It's daily comp, daily news yay!
Captain's Log #
Since the start of the big comp, I did 350 races. My first 100 went really well, had a new High of 155 WPM yay! (choke of 165 WPM though). The next morning, did another 70, went alright. After work, did 180 races in a row... the first 70 was alright, but then I decided to advertise the comp to 110 WPM league....... ok I lied, my hands died and I was stuck at trying to stay on 110 WPM league wah... I need to work on my grind endurance again hehe.
I was thinking of doing more races until I hit 500... but have other priorities with managing the comp and the webpage hehe. GG, you win Flex Grinder Ally and King of Comps ack! hehe.
For Day 2 comp, I might do a few races before going to sleep or just sleep after doing web work... I miss sleeping at 8pm wah...
Nitro Type Stuff #
While stuck in the 110 wpm league, I kept racing bunch of annoying people using the same sticker... come on racers, be a bit more creative like Send aka Paper Plane sticker (best sticker ever). Oh and it wouldn't hurt to like buzz off once in awhile? It's a small world during my timezone wah...
Outside Nitro Type #
Yesterday I mention losing parcels... fortunately for me, the post office has sorted out the issue and delivered it! It's a used Anbernic RG280V handheld retro game device hehe. But don't worry, I don't intend on playing retro games.
Website Work #
I am about to test the big comp website update for results and moving on to Day 2... This part is manual, so please bear with me!
While doing that, I will be looking into displaying the overall leaderboard of entered participants.
Besides that, I hope everyone likes the comp page hehe.
Big Comp Update #
Visit here to see the results from Day 1. I'll be checking the overall leaderboard and throw in another 500K to players that tried really hard. This 500K can be used to buy another spooky car from the 24hr Shop!
Day 1 - Carve Pumpkins Results #
Congratulations to the winners:
🥇 1st ack! (500 races) wins $5,000,000 - Nitr-o'-the-Wisp Car
🥈 2nd Basic A.W. (415 races) wins $663,000 - Stickers and Titles Package
🥉 3rd gorniak (221 races) wins $362,000 - Titles Package
The third place was a tough one. Silly Sandbanger held the spot but was overtaken! GGs.
Day 2 - Apple Bobbing #
Next we are doing accuracy... Yes I hate accuracy comps too wah... But let's do our best! The next prize is another Nitro Type car, the Evergreen Screamer valued at $4,200,000.
But wait there's more! If racer that enters the accuracy comp, gets top 3 and does more than 100 races, will win another 5 million! Good luck, have fun!
Team Update #
Wow, good job reaching over 2000 races! I guess gold comps have some effect. I wonder if the accuracy comp will have less races... one way to find out! Good luck, have fun.
Welcome New Members #
While reaching Top 100 again, I had a few new members. I have a feeling some are here for the comp and might leave afterwards. No problem! Folly Times allows team hoppers host big comps for anyone to join.
To any loyal Folly Times members, your active racing are noted and depending on the results, I might update prize options to the loyal.
