Time for another daily comp with daily blitz still ongoing.
Captain's Log #
Today I stopped at 100 races. I might do some more later. No comment on my speed, it was basically bad again with my left hand being asleep...
Nothing too dramatic on the race track, "new" same suspects, one in particular into Waving...
I also had 2 nice races against a Former FOLLY Member and 1 against ally captain (if he knew about the Test Alt hehe).
Doing Favors... #
A NT Friend from my main's team (150wpm+ racer) asked me to write up a Script that disables Nitros (disable enter key during race). Apparently he doesn't want to use Nitros during the Elitist Only tournament held by Nitro Type Server... (still not coming back hehe and it's like the server waited for my hands to die so I couldn't enter jks hehe).
I thought making the script would be easy, but lol nope jk, I kept stuffing up my Javascript key event handlers. But still, not hard, so I spent my break time fixing it up and testing (cringe racing sorry 100WPM league!). I don't expect anyone needs that script though, so I won't link it here hehe (thanks daily challenges wah).
Website Work #
Nothing new to report, just a lot of internal changes and experimental database changes. Still trying to cut down the data hmm. I might do more of it overnight as it's now Friday night for me... zzz... Hmm hehe.
Other Dev Things #
While writing up the Disable Nitro Key script, I got bored and decided to check the "Race Logs" data... and WOW! I had no idea it had so much hidden data like other people's previous race scores (against me? or literally past X races hmm), their offset timezone, current race session, how many friends of them raced in that race etc etc etc... it's bonkers... IMO Nitro Type should purge that too...
Also was curious about the "realtime" websocket frames... Had a funny idea about attempting to make race replays, but nah I have priorties wah...
Donations #
Besides the ongoing 1 million donation sponsoring blitz... I received another from a NT User. I logged it on the office pc, but my memory isn't too good wah...
I also have a funny feeling I received another from our Donation Master, but again I can't recall :(

Monthly Officer Election Status #
I haven't checked how many responses yet, but I'll be sure to put up the vote link on MOTD again. Voting will close on Sunday 8:45AM EDT and I'll announce the elected around Sunday 10AM EDT.
FOLLY and TIPTOP event coming soon... #
With TIPTOP back in Top 100, we have decided to start arranging for the ally comp event.
I replied saying we should aim for next week. More details to come though. Hoping to design a visual comp out of this, but I can only dream hehe.
BTW: I recommend anyone needing to join a team, to join them and help them climb further in the leaderboard. They were Top 50 before in the past :)
Reminder: Some Grinders on Break RN #
(this is basically from yesterday's news)
We have at least 3 blitz winners (within the 1st to 5th place from past few days) having a break this week (various reasons).
I expect we'll be dropping our race count a bit and leaving Top 50. HOWEVER, if any of you wants to help out the team and make up the loss races, go right ahead. I'll be making notes on that and will award accordingly.
Otherwise, happy to chill a bit. It'll be good for me to concentrate on web work once in awhile.
