Time for another daily news.
Captain's Log #
Today I've done 125 races so far... lol nope jk, 250 technically with half my grinds on the main account hehe. Going at slow speeds once again...
It's usual weekday sleep early day and I'm slowly recovering from some annoying hay fever allergy and breathing problems (dust probably).
I'll try not to sleep early though because I need to setup ack!'s comp.
Gatecrashing Someone's Friend Race #
Previously on my Ignore the World series, I added a check function to enable friend race chatting, if I entered someone's friend race. These happen rarely... but today I gatecrashed a certain SSH member who loves disqualifying over random reasons hehe. It beat me once, so when I entered again as my main account, I gave it the trash talk: "Hi", "I'm going to win" and did 138WPM hehe.

Toonidy vs Silje #
This season, I'm going to be splitting races between main and alt on Team FOLLY. Which account will do better... Team Toonidy Paper Plane or Team Silje's Blue Car.
Anyone want to place bets? hehe.
I might make a joke page on the website highlighting the results. Probably after I do the next new stat changes.
Disclaimer: Split races = I alternate accounts per race.
Going to the Dark Side Maybe... #
While split racing between main and alt, I had an idea on setting up another userscript to load the other account's race ASAP. When I mean ASAP, think: 5 words to go, load next race, and when I finish the race, the next race will already start the countdown instead of waiting for new racers hmmmm....
But Silly, how would you do that?
Haven't proven the concept... but it's simple: code up some localhost websocket server and have the userscript connect to it. It'll then send a signal to tell the other connection to start the next race.
But Silly, you hate auto refresh players
... yeah hehe, going to the dark side. I haven't made it yet and will come up with something to manually toggle this feature per race :P (ngl, probably not)
Xmaxx Cave Shop Cars are Just Palette Swapping Laziness #
So... why no Warapped Flyer?
All those cars are almost like looking at some RPG Turned Base game using Palette Swapped Sprites... Does anyone know what that term means? See Here hehe
It would be clearly cheaper to just do Wrapped Flyer and change the year and sell that! Once again, please sell the Wrapped Flyer wah... please... sobs
(Obviously this is a joke rant section, many people appreciate those cars)

Competition - Race to Max Level #
King of Comps ack! asked if I wanted to do this comp again. Originally it was no because a certain gold winner didn't say THANK YOU! (I wonder if that said person still at S0RC hmm hehe).
But I went ahead and hosted it. The prize was 25 million to the first player reaching Max Level.
And it's already over as I'm writing this news post...

Competition - Xmaxx Cave Shop #
ack! has offered to host cash prizes relating to the Xmaxx Cave shop.
This comp will be a daily most points win type. I need to setup the webpage for this (similar to that of Spooky Comp). It'll be ready during this week, please wait as I'm busy IRL until Wednesday.

Thanks to the Xmaxx-ing, we went well past our daily grind count for Last 24hr. Thank you all so much!
Spring Cleaning #
Last night, not sure if people noticed, but yes I started sweeping the broom last night! I have nothing to offer to those that do nothing, and I'll be doing a lot of that prior to the next Major Event on Folly Times.
