Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Today I've done 250 races again (125 per account hehe). Same story, but kinda deliberately going snail.

I want to do shop comp page today but I'm flat out tired once again. Also I hinted slightly about being sad midweek IRL... it happened wah. But I'm ok I think... just tired.

Allergy problem still happening... non stop coughing :/, might need to check for asthma hmmmm.

Race Peacefully in another Nitro Type Realtime Server? #

When Nitro Type launched their Xmaxx Season, I had a "loading..." problem (for a few minutes). I turned on one of my old Userscripts that connects to another Nitro Type server. I noticed that I tend to race AI bots more hmmm (sometimes I race "new" players though)...

I wonder if I probably should stop using that particular script hehe. I also wonder... ehm best not make evil suggestions hehe.

Ugh I can't Stand Nitro Type's Rarity Background #

It's like looking at Assassin's Creed Odyssey with the equipment rarity (reference)... I heard someone mention it being similar to Fortnight, but lol nope jk, I don't play that game.

I don't mind this being on the shop MAYBE...

RANT ALERT RANT ALERT

But on the Customize Page?... Why do I care at this point? I'm trying to look for a sticker and those background colors are distracting! Like, I don't want to know rarity, I just want to assign said sticker.

When I played Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the rarity background color had its uses like: "Save it for special moment"... Nitro Type? Only good for: "Buy it, it won't come back again because it's EPIC RARE" :/

Sometimes I think Nitro Type does things that users don't want... but I'm also too picky about things hehe.

TODO: Write another userscript to remove rarity background hehe

Oh thanks Nitro Type For Fixing Race Results Page #

Now it finally displays the WPM... This is good, now I can go pointlessly reporting sus players with High Speed hehe (jk, I'm pretty sure they auto ban accordingly shrugs)

But don't stop there! Can we please have Accuracy and Nitros Used? Don't make me consider checking the network data and writing a Userscript to fix this...

Season Leaderboard Userscript Might Need Updating #

Speaking of Userscripts. Today I noticed the Season Leaderboard script no longer talks about "Your team rank"... I guess I'll have to manually put in that text wah... Before I would just let their ReactJS code do the work for me.

Oh well, no big deal. I rather not expose my Google Account on someone's season leaderboard using *Google Sheets... (but good job with the formatting!)

Competition - Xmaxx Cave Shop #

I'm still developing the webpage for this. TBH haven't started wah... I'll be more free tomorow to do this though. While doing it, I might double check on a few things.

ack! has offered to host cash prizes relating to the Xmaxx Cave shop.

This comp will be a daily most points win type. I need to setup the webpage for this (similar to that of Spooky Comp). It'll be ready during this week, please wait as I'm busy IRL until Wednesday.

Team Update #

Woah, today I saw 3500+ races on the Last 24hr count. I think this is probably the first time we reached that number! Thank you all, and I hope you all are having fun with the new season.

While I don't think we'll ever reach Top 10 for some time... can always make it a dream hehe.
