Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Last night I end up not sleeping early but also decided to just goof off and make that Userscript I mention yesterday (more below). I went to bed at 4AM wah but needed to be awake around 9AM...

Today I've done 340 races (170 per account). I could had done extras during the morning, but was too tired. Instead most of my races was during the afternoon with snail pace... But hey, at least not dead hands :/

I only woke up earlier than usual to race in someone's 75K race.

I'll look into stats once again... Might do one more schema change in regards to showing user's current details during the stat period. I've been playing with the "import" process, and once again, it's going to be a slow launch when ready :(

New Userscript Ideas MOTD Offensive Filter Analysis Part II :/ #

Talk is cheap right? so last night I made the proof of concept :P

Message of the Day Filter Reason

The way it works is:

  1. Write MOTD as usual
  2. If Offensive Error Message shows, display my fancy cringe UI to review the MOTD
  3. Select up to 2 regions of text (32 bytes, not characters, eg 4 bytes = 1 emoji usually and spaces are excluded)
  4. Click Check Selected, it'll make use of the Update Account Setting on First and Last name, which has filter checks hehe (GGs Nitro Type, I told you to whitelist Peacock wah...)
  5. If offensive message shows up, then fix it hehe, if not, keep guessing where the offensive word is
  6. If you think you fixed the MOTD, submit and repeat if error still shows

Obvious downside is that I can't check for offensive words over 32 bytes because Update Account Setting first and last name has a limit of 32 bytes. Again, bytes != characters silly Nitro Type validating 32 characters as bytes upon testing :/

Whether the dictionary from Update Account Settings page is the same, we'll see :/

And for anyone concern, no doing this trick won't change your First and Last name on Nitro Type. You need to enter the password to do that... But for some reason Nitro Type checks offensive names first hehe.

I might make a video and commentate it.

Q: Probably going to say no... but can I have the script? #

I don't mind hosting it. Although I'm feeling a bit bad for circumventing existing APIs on Nitro Type :P

I think before I release it, I should setup a dictionary cache database using IndexedDB hmm...
