Hello Silly Entities!

Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Today I've not got a chance to race wah... I'll be focusing on doing the comp pages to at least display the Main Leaderboard for the Gold and 100 million winner.

Hopefully after, I can play the comp hehe. Most likely case, I'll be crunching some bugs and trying to make the page refresh every 10 minutes properly.

BTW I also had to remove my main account from the team to make room for interested players and play the comp hehe... PS. I'm sure I beated Toonidy on the season points :P

To brag or not to brag... #

For the team comp, I'm going to keep my mouth quiet. I want this to be mostly exclusive for the loyal that are still here hehe.

The most I was bragging was done on my Discord status hehe.

Xmaxx 2021 Comp Website Status #

Let's just say, when it comes to design, the saying goes: "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail" hehe... wah.

It's functional, but idk, I wish it could be a bit more "cooler" hmm.

One main gripe is that I haven't made this "responsive" for mobile devices wah... Although my main target audience is people on large screen PCs hmm hehe.

On the bright side, it's the first practice trial case on using ReactJS. Although for the new website, I want to use NextJS for a bit more static pages hmm :/

Sorry in Advance for Slow Comp Result Stats #

I've put the comp system on a "Free Tier" plan hehe. The main downside you'll see is: if no one is on the comp page, the stat system will go to sleep and it'll take a few extra seconds to wake up.

Also there's some data change on the stats, which involves a little more "downloading". I plan to use that data for Graphs.

Had some questions from 2 people from the NT community. I couldn't really offer much as I'm doing the comp website wah...

I'm assuming wasn't a good grind day. I also noticed we're probably below Top 50 too hmm. So...

When you know you aren't Top 50... #

But I don't mind though for folks like Magic 500 Chosen and Honorable Igor. I'm more about keeping tabs at the ones that didn't do too much and then joining another Top 50 team :P

Where's the Love for FOLLY? #

Last 2 or 3 days, I'm kinda disappointed with not enough reactions on my MOTD posts. Where are you all at? :( wah.

Also, I have make one note: Please try to show that you are willing to try and win the comp. I worked really hard on trying to setup this comp :( and the constant feeling of being "used" over "gold".

If I don't see a good result on the comp, I might have to consider closing this team for a break hmm...
