Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Last night, I manage to do at 150 races to play with the comp. Today, I've done 260 races so far... I've been actively playing the comp and went on a world tour on WPM speed hehe... back to being slow right now wah... (not warmed up enough at home keyboard).

Xmaxx 2021 Comp Website Status #

Last night, I've done a few various changes on the website. The main important part is that it will at least show properly on mobile screens (horizontal scrolling required on mobile though wah).

It might not be the best looking page out there, but I had fun making it. Now I'm not sure what to do with the green background header... IMO, it's pointlessly competing my eyes on looking at the intended target, which is the comp results section hmm...

Balancing the Bonus Multiplier Delayed #

I wanted to do this by today, but I'm running out of time again. I'm a bit lost in how to actually do this properly on the database query. The person that gave me the feedback concern I suspect is in the same timezone as me hmmm.... (I wasn't told about said timezone, I'm guessing based on my encountered race hehe and Nitro Type exposing people's timezones on race logs).

IMO, I think Day 3's comp is fine though. Sorry! But please don't despair! And to anyone else concern, feel free to share your concerns :)

One Known Issue #

Everytime I make updates, I the saved browser session will attempt to load the old JavaScript file which no longer existed.

If you see a white page, just refresh the website.

I'll try fix that issue, it's probably something I need to change on my deployment settings.

Next Up: Blitz Results and Stat Graphs #

NGL, originally I was about to do my weekday sleep early routine... but no, it needs to be done.

I'll be adding in the "results" for the 10 minute blitzes. This is so we all know how much points we gain and why hehe...

Next Up: Other ideas #

I might add a "forecast" below the points table for the multiplier bonus. While I do use the popup box to display it, it's probably more handy to see it next to the leaderboard hmm...

BTW: that scheduler timetable should auto scroll to the current time hopefully.

It's quite addicting. I hope to continue working on this for future ideas... Joke ideas like... Raising um your Pokemon via 10 minute blitz grinds hehe (HMM :/).
