Time for another daily news.

Today I've done 100 races (50/50). I might do more later or just chill hmm.

Displaying some NTGLOBALS on Google Sheets... #

A very known Youtuber has asked for some help with getting NT Bootstrap Data (aka the "leaks") and putting them on Google Sheets.

Setting up the scraper was not too hard. I basically used parts of my Team Stats code for it. The only annoying part was needing to regex map against Top Players and Teams because of the Map Object format (ruins sorting).

However putting it on Google Sheets is a bit ugh hehe. Last time I did work on any Google Sheet project, was with writing a Macro Script that runs every 12AM to move data around. So with that knowledge, I had only 2 ideas on putting NT Data on Sheets:

I'm leaning towards Option B. I've done both methods though. I'll have to research more into the hosting options for the "scraper".

Nitro Type Racer Taking the L: Fake Friend Races? #

Imagine having trouble winning 1st or 2nd and needing to resort to...

Fake Friend Racing

I'm not even going to blurb out that name... This is my second encounter I've seen this racer do this SMH. Last time I saw this was last week.

I'm not too familiar with this trick, but I know if you start a friend race, add another racer and then leave, that racer doesn't get removed. I haven't personally tested this though, it was something I noticed while testing the Safe Space script hehe.

Whether that racer always does that, IDK. My guess, probably trying to complete daily challenges and can't win, so it took the L :/

Curious to know more about this racer. Share the gossips hehe! Also, should these types of players be banned? :/. I mean, it's kinda cheating for medals... hmm :/

PS. ngl, I'm taking the L too for using the Safe Space script hehe
