Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Today I've done 100 races (50/50). I'll take be doing more dev-ing and looking at some Userscripts.

Dealing with Nitro Type Support over my "Fraud" Payment Transaction Part II #

Some good news! They offered to unblock my card (which I misread and assumed they did). I did some of the Gold Gifting thanks to that. I'll hold back on doing it all in one day... But geez, cutting it real close to the Discount Deadline hehe...

I followed up my missing enquiry about how they revoked me and another friend's gold status when I got flagged. It made no sense for them to remove my NT Gold remaining months... Fortunately, they agree and noted it was an "error" by some staff that removed my purchases... These have been corrected!

The only remaining thing are these refunds. I'm fairly sure they haven't included the one for Gold Winner #2. I'm still waiting to see how it totals up on my Bank Statements, so I can better understand the situation.

So do I Forgive Nitro Type Admins? #

The following deeds that upset me were:

  1. Revoking Gold instead of the Renewal Resolved
  2. Issuing a Warning on my Account and telling me that I'll get Perm Banned if I do this again
  3. Not knowing about whether I'm getting Refunds for the "Flagged" transactions Pending
  4. Potentially Embarrassing me when they removed Gold from the Gold Winners. Forgiven

For #3, they've provided me some info about what's getting refunded and provided me a reference when I get the funds back. It's just a matter of me double checking this.

For #2, I'm just going to make this simple. Ban me because of Flagged Transactions, then I'm gone. I'm not going to bother asking them to remove the warning flag (I'm sure it's logged on their Database :/). You give me a warning, then I'll just give you my own warning back. Fair game.

Despite #2, support have done a great job responding and for that, I'm thankful. I'm not going to bother asking for some apology or ASK THEM FOR WRAPPED FLYER (jk). Seriously, thank you so far, and lessons have been learnt from this.

I'm still confused at how they are dealing with fraud and I wish NT Admins treat me with a little more respect from the beginning. But I'll stick with #2 and just say: you warn me, I'll warn back... I'm that kind of person IRL.

EDIT: added 4th deed...

I was reminded that this could had cost me my reputation as captain of a team running a gold comp. Thanks to the support from my Team Members, I can let that slide.

Originally I said it will be 7 days. I'm going to round it the nearest Monday on 3rd January 2022. That's when I'll do more house keeping on the team roster hehe.
