Time for another daily news!

Captain's Log #

Today I only had time to 100 races wah... At least it wasn't a snail racing day hmm hehe (apart from sandbagging for someone's 20K race, see below for that).

I'll be doing some prep work on our upcoming Sprint Competition, the aim is to get it ready on Friday or Saturday.

IRL Work: Game Project Looking alright... #

While I'm left behind with my "promotion", most of the other workmates are working on a Unreal engine based game wah... Today I had a look at their progress, looks good so far. I'm impressed with the progress and the ability with the resources used to make something functional :/. Heck they should help me out with Folly Times website hehe (they all know about me playing Nitro Type...).

But again, I'm "promoted" and not involved :/. Not sure whether to share details but it's early days and I'm still a bit "sceptical" about it.

However Blind Bandit's donation was based on "inactive period, do not kick" hmm... Do well to make it up, and I won't have to hehe. If I kick, I'll leave a note to return the cash.

Any future donations based on "do not kick", will be refunded. I want this team to have more active people and filling up the space doesn't go well with me and to any active grinders.

Team Update #

Today I saw 2000-ish races on the last 24hr count. Good job team! This gives me an excuse to focus more on the dev work for the comp and test out new stat system changes.

Another interesting note was nice seeing 21 racers doing the daily req and some a little beyond.

Sprint Competition Event #

I'm aiming to get this done by Friday, 21st January. The original competition was originally to celebrate my 50K races... I totally stuffed up the details with Arcety it when I misread when to run it.

The name of the competition will be called: Silly Revolution.

Competition Page Coming Soon #

I'll be trying to setup the competition page and will post it on MOTD and on this website.

I'm going to be trialing the 10 minute stat collection system again (as a background engine). All results timing will be updated in 10 minute intervals. It'll be similar to when I setup Xmaxx Big Comp. However, points = Nitro Type points this time though.

Team Break for Pokemon Legends: Arceus? #

While I think the game is probably a bit experimental and it might disappoint... I'm thinking of allowing a weekend break for people wanting to play that game :P
