Time for another daily news!

Captain's Log #

Today I have done 150 races... Back to snailing about hehe (although I did finish at 125 WPM avg hmm).

Comp Page Status #

Last night I've been trying to get the stat system for the Team Event running. I ran into some bugs and some "oops" moment... hint: test date was off because working past midnight hehe...

The collection is working as planned, but I'll monitor it today and hope it's fine to use tomorrow. If not, I will use the existing stats system instead.

Today's task:

If this goes well, I'll be able to consider setting up the Folly Times system using the new hosting resources.

NT Drama Ugh #

I watched one video about some SSH member being banned... but I didn't actually listen to the video hehe apart from "don't go hating". But those comments... :/

Not going to stick up for that racer as a part time SSH member hehe... (my only personal non-issue is repeat racing during my timezone...)

People Making Fun of Some Bot Audit Script SSH Captain Uses? #

So I heard V had some script to check if racer is botting or something (correct me if wrong?). People going about with: "ahaha lies, you just want to know how much points your team will gain"...

Not too long ago, I wrote a script to check... what's that nickname again? botting 500 races I'm desperate wontdoitagainlol?... But that particular script's purpose was just to see if the racer was doing that exploit on grinding (which he did obviously)... At best I can only track a team's members daily grinds (which was used for the Xmaxx Comp).

So yep, going to have to accept that I don't know the knowledge to catch botters (yet hehe). I mean Nitro Type would had already done this job more efficiently :/.

You know what? #

I'll just sit back and read through team rivals clashing over "botting"... Botters on Leaderboard? meh let them hog the spots, good job them. Soon my team will eventually "ignore the leaderboard"... I really don't need leaderboards apart from simply being "searchable", I can just run my own leaderboard if I have to hehe.

What's this? You saying you only joined my team for Top 50 badge? Oh... hehe (smh).

Sorry everyone about Ally Requests #

I've received at least 2 ally request emails... One team had a weird requirement on 10000 races to join :/ and another team had padlet. Both were contactable and I appreciate that.

At this moment, I'm not accepting new allies (especially to LERS thinking out loud whether user from AE still visits this website? hehe).

I'm aiming to get this done by Friday, 21st January 8:30AM EST. The original competition was originally to celebrate my 50K races... I totally stuffed up the details with Arcety it when I misread when to run it.

The name of the competition will be called: Silly Revolution.

Rules:

4th - 3 mil
5th - 2.5 mil

7th - 1.5 mil

I'll be trying to setup the competition page and will post it on MOTD and on this website.

I'm going to be trialing the 10 minute stat collection system again (as a background engine). All results timing will be updated in 10 minute intervals. It'll be similar to when I setup Xmaxx Big Comp. However, points = Nitro Type points this time though.
