Time for another daily news!
Captain's Log #
Last night I didn't end up sleeping early and did another 100 races.
Today I've done 200 races so far. I might do a couple more or chill for the rest of my day because back to work wah...
Nitro Type Admins Annoying me again... #
Not directly though hehe. Past few weeks ago they started messing with me in the following sequences:
- Change Leaderboard API to V2 breaking my Season Leaderboard Userscript (smh)
- Change Account Settings API to V2 and put a stop to my MOTD Userscript (WHERE'S MY BUG SMASHER AND WRAPPED FLYER?)
- Today... changed Team Stats API to V2
The saddest thing about this "V2" is... IT'S JUST A RENAMING ON FIELDS! Let me guess as a fellow fullstack developer:
Travis: "All of our new APIs on V2 have a cool field name called "results" lol. I'm getting OCD, so ima like change from "data" to "results" for consistency's sake lol. I'm so cool I'm so smart... Oops I broke something again lol."
Ok ok... I'm literally joking and had 2 drinks of Alcohol hehe (ps. don't drink kids). But yep that quote above might be partly me hehe...
Fixing Stats #
I decided to sleep for more than 12 hours... I was one hour away from missing out on seeing stats break. Although to know that, I'd have to read Discord, emails, or check stats myself hehe. I have not setup error monitoring on the program hehe.
I've fixed it, so should be fine... but having to fix it twice was a bit ugh :/ (one for stats/blitz and the other for Silly Revolution comp).
Lots of things to consider for new stats though hmm... Glad they finally updated their API to V2, even though I can't tell what's so important about it.
Speaking of that API Update... #
Yesterday, I moved some scraper script to another hosting. But then Nate Dogg pointed out it's printing the bootstrap slightly different and Google Sheets putting things in different ordering...
I figured what I did, but it's because I removed alphabet sorting :P However as a developer... do I want to keep that forever?... Unlike the meanies POG NT Admins, I decided to keep the "old version" for "compatibility" and let Nate know I'll eventually have to change things in due course... You hearing me NT Admins? Cater to your users and not yourself! Hmph! (jk :P)
DISCLAIMER: NT API doesn't mean Public API, so don't expect much co-operation between me and them over APIs hehe. All my work is totally unofficial stuff.

Not going to stop repeating this hehe.
Secret Mission is a group effort. I'm not going to say what it is... but beating it will unlock new prize rewards hehe.
Last time I ran this, we failed... Will we be able to succeed this time? We'll see... and no it's not beating LDT on LB again hehe.
