Time for another daily news on this foolish website!

Captain's Log #

Same thing, I did another 50 races. Today I did 100 races. I'll be aiming for Keyboard Cat and finishing off the season on my Test Cakes account... and sandbag hehe (to see how effectively my userscript below really is...).

Userscript: Race Timer #

Not sure how useful this script idea would be... but it's definitely helping me. I needed to make some improvements though... like: including nitro-ing to speed up the race time hehe.

I did a demo video of me using it on the you know what channel.

Using Perfect Nitro Script #

I decided to use a very well known Userscript called "Perfect Nitro". It's quite good and I like the dev work from that author (just a bit too backward compatible for my liking?). However, being a dev myself... I had to make my own custom changes which include:

Highlight every letter involved in Nitro (eg. " everything. " instead of "everything. ")
Because of the change above, I needed to add "alt highlight colors" in case 2 words are the same length
Not sure if the other script did it, but account for the length in between words. EG: "Everything " and " everything " are different lengths
Remove the highlighted words after using Nitro

Another nitpicky remark I could do is, highlight the next longest nitro word if I forgot to nitro... because as everyone knows, I don't like Nitros hehe.

It's my first time visiting the lower speed range... I wonder if these 100% new accounts are legit :/. But either way, haha, you noobs need to work on your sandbagging hehe.

Usually April Fools is a half day thing... but here! It's APRIL FOOLS WEEK! Yay hehe!
