Time for another daily news!
Captain's Log #
Again, only had time for 50 races. Still zen and on target, but sadly sloppy hehe. I'll probably spend the rest of my night on planning the big comp and start dev-work.
Should I Practice Chess? :/ #
Meanwhile at my office... we have a Chess Board and we usually just let everyone make one move. But lol nope jk, some 1600+ player comes in and is like: "Ima flex", tried to ask him to do a Fool's Mate for me hehe :/.
After losing a very long thinking game from both sides, maybe I should practice the game :/. I don't play chess usually but I know some terms like center, pin, development... Game probably was too close, but I was in a tough spot lacking a way to move forward and eventually I blundered all the way to End Game with only a Queen and less pawns against Queen and Bishop and more of his pawns.
FYI: He thinks I'm at least 1000 rating, I don't have a rating right now hehe.
Here's my middle game where I was like: IDK if I can play on from here hehe. Not sure who's turn it was after I said to take a photo of the position. I thought it was mine, but he thinks it was his... so the Stockfish analysis is black's turn.
IMO probably would still be me losing at some endgame.

If anyone wants me to start playing a few games online, chess puzzles etc, I'll consider it in the near future.

Was in reasonable spot last I checked. Hope to grind some more around the Big Comp time.
Next Comp Coming Up May 26th Part II #
Still thinking of how to make the rules for this big comp :/. I'm leaning towards a similar concept from Xmaxx Comp but with a bit different scoring system.
Or keep it simple silly hehe.
