Captain's Log #

Same usual, 50 zen races on the sloppy side. I had time today to get beaten up in Friend Race against 160WPM+ players hehe.

Main to Finally Reach 50K #

After taking my time on main after taking the "L"... I'm only 50 races away from getting Lacan for main hehe. I'll most likely be racing around 7:30 PM EST.

Team Update #

Didn't properly check, but I think was under the reasonable count wah.

Summer Holidays Real Hiatus? :/ #

Last time when I ran this team during Summer Holidays (US timezone), players hardly could race much... Was thinking I'll close the team and take a break from being on Leaderboards...

But need feedback on this.

Next Comp Coming Up May 26th Part IV #

With point comp confirmed for May 26th, I am drafting up the "card game".

I'm trying to make it a "Paper Plane vs Dinosaur" scenario. If this part of the comp gets a bit complex or other work takes a bit long, it might be a "Part II" another big comp event hmm...

Here's a rough idea what I have in mind:

• Most card collection wins or first player to collect them all wins
• Cards have rarity too
• Dinosaur and Paper Planes have HP, an attack and depending on the card, a special effect
• Every 10 minutes, players can choose to "collect" a "paper plane" or "item" card;
• OR if there's enough collected "Paper Planes", they have to battle against a Dinosaur once in awhile... (daily will have a "boss" Dinosaur to beat)
• When battling a dinosaur, the player's paper plane collection gets put into a deck and shuffled; the drawn card will battle the dinosaur
• Actions to attack or collect will be given a "race required" to complete the task (I'm thinking for collection, there's an option of 3 choices)
• If players aren't able to race to perform an action, a dinosaur will deal damage to the battling paper plane... if HP reaches 0, paper plane card is forfeit, requiring the player to find another copy
• Items will play a role in protecting collection, winning dinosaur battles or... fusion? (hehe)
• Dinosaur Cards can only be collected by beating them in battle (maybe good typing accuracy involved hehe)

The problem with this format is the logic, players joining team late, players AFK eg sleeping or "Imbalance"... NGL, I'm imagining all of this in my head hehe.

We'll see how far I get with this idea. My goal is to come up with 50-100 collectable things. Here's a spoiler:

Mythic Rare: "Toonidy's Wrapped Flyer" only appears once or twice within the 7 day period :P

Early Trivial #

• Some people know, but Paper Planes vs Dinosaurs is a joke over a Nitro Type player named "Indoraptor" who pinged me over "why you obsessed with paper planes?" on SSH server; the other joke was the T-Rex Sticker and I'd reply "Paper Plane"
• The Card game idea is based on a joke during my Primary School years... a friend had Pokemon Cards and I didn't, so I made my own composing of my earlier cartoon creations and battled against Pokemon :/ (she gave me bunch of Pokemon cards after hehe)
• The list of "Dinosaurs" I'm plan to create are loosely based on my "children's story" school project, but with a bit of "Modern twist"
• I only "obsess" with paper planes because it annoys people and nothing wrong with a bit of "self branding" hehe :P
• During my Intellectual Disability days, the "Special Classes" would do a expo like thing on Fridays, where I go to "science group", "cooking group", something else? (I can't recall wah); the first "sCiEnCe" thing I learned was making a Dart Paper Airplane hehe... (FYI. I was 11 years old already, totez feeling like I'm not learning anything :/)
• One of my "secret santa gifts" was a book on making different kinds of Paper Airplanes

:P hope you enjoyed this section and the bliss of being in "Special Education Classes" during most of my Primary School aka Elementary? (I think you go there if your IQ is under 50 in Australia wah I'm dumb hehe...).
