Spooky Comp October 2021 Results

Gold Winners! #

First Gold will got to -KenK-! It was tied with Spooky Pumpkin, but I had to round it down to winning in 2 different events and race count during the week (EDIT: omg I totally forgot Spooky Pumpkin is already gold!).

Second Gold will go to our loyal repeat officer gorniak (nickname pending hehe). That was some great accuracy!

EDIT: I have no idea why I thought Silly Sandbagger was gold-less, sorry!

EDIT 2: Oops, my MOTD made it seem like I gift the wrong gold to people, but no it's correct. The original problem was I was going to gift to Silly Sandbagger but realized it's gold hehe.

Other Winners #

ack! has been grinding really hard to bump the leaderboard back to Top 50. So as thanks, I have awarded the cash store prize as part of the arrangement. We are currently in discussions on getting the cash trails, and I think me gifting it doesn't work... (I got an achievement about paying the new cash value too hehe).

Foundling Silly Sandbagger also has done a huge share of grinding. Usually her time is spent elsewhere, so big thanks!

I'm in contact with ack! and we'll see if alternative options or if happy with the big cash already sent.

Behind the Scenes #

While I had planned a big cash event, I had no intention of it referencing the Hallowampus Store hehe.

I was also lucky enough not to overcomplicate the comp page web design and I hope you all like the look of it! I worked hard on it... sure there has been typos and some design issues and the end of season points getting in the way (that's why the last comp is races)... But yay first pretty looking comp page!

One day, I'll be as great as SSH and have visual comps... Forget about those "Rockets", "Balloons", "MS Paint Comp result posters"! Think epic like um.... PAPER PLANE VS DINOSAURS hehe. (PS. I love SSH hehe)
