I no longer operate the Nitro Type account and Team, but left a goodbye message :P

Too Much Gifting = Suspicious Credit Card Transaction

Hello Silly Entities!

Nitro Type has decided to flag my recent paid transactions as suspicious and decided to issue a warning on my Nitro Type account.

My First Nitro Type Warning

When that happened, I learned the Captain account and a few users gifted gold have been revoked.

What I know about this problem... #

Previously on News Post 2021-12-26, I talked about having payment issues on Nitro Type and going on a spending spree.

For the record: I paid a lot of things (2x 300 mil, 1x 125 mil lol... 4x golds...). There was a gold discount, so why shouldn't I renew and gift gold to friends? I also had to Top Up cash for the Xmaxx Comp...

Other Users had this problem #

According to my source, I heard V from SSH got flagged in the past too a couple of months ago. I heard the resolution was to show photo of their CC to support.

What's next? #

I'm contacting support for what they want me to do about it... Happy to co-operate with support on this matter.

And depending on their answer, if they cause me further grief, I'm going to quit Nitro Type and ask for refunds. Because, I looked at my bank transactions... and all of them are charged!

Overreaction? Probably. But threatening me a "Perm Ban" over a "flagged" incident AND revoke Gold is not acceptable. All that makes me reconsider doing any future big comps.

Questions and Answers #

Q: Now that you are goldless, is blitz canceled? #

No, my main account is not affected by this problem. I've renewed that account a bit earlier. I'll still be able to deal with giving out cash prizes as per usual.

Final Words #

Sorry for the inconvenience, I've attempted to let the Gold Winners know and I'll try to get things resolved. It sucks, I'm embarrassed over this...

I still have hope NT support will help resolve this issue, payment fraud is an annoying thing IRL (as a former employee of a some Domain, Hosting Company hehe).

More to come?
