Time for another daily news.

Captain's Log #

Last night, fix some problems on the Xmaxx Shop Comp page. This morning, I had to fix more things and I forgot to update the blitz page wah...

Today I've done 410 races (205 per account) yay! Thank you... the dark side... hehe... (PS. totez not talking about Star Wars). I am thinking of getting one of those desk mats at home... the typing noise from the desk starting to sound cringe at home hmm (especially on sound recordings).

I will probably do more work on stats system and fix any more problems on the comp page. Although, I might sleep early and wake up early to join in someone's 75K race hmm.

But don't worry, I'll get on the stats during the weekend! (might race a bit less, depends on availablity hmm)

Going to the Dark Side Part III... #

Quick report on that... so after doing 1 hours worth of racing, I ended up doing 55 races per account (110 races in total yay!). Too bad my hands die despite my "pacing" hehe. I barely survived grinding 100 / 100 races in one session.

Usually my hourly grinds are between 80-90 and supposedly there are some players that can do better :/ hmmm :/

Asking Nitro Type Support Some Questions... #

A few days ago, one thing that was bugging me... now this was confirmed to be true wah. Apparently it's a known issue and people probably exploited for some time wah... sobs

Hint: I made a subtle reference to this sort of... and told this to two NT friends... one that is on multiple NT Discord Servers = Inside knowledge :P

So, dropped a little "Report a Bug" to get some insights. Last time I contacted Nitro Type support about stuff, they ignored my email or responded with something unhelpful... Maybe I'll try the email if that happens. My first experience with support over "bugs" were reasonable on response times (it was just some tooltip bug on the Top X Racer).

Depending on the answer, the dark side? hehe.

New Userscript Ideas MOTD Offensive Filter Analysis :/ #

One of my past MOTDs, I couldn't figure out why some message was "offensive". But eventually I figured out it was "420" and I had to Search for the meaning of that number... Nitro Type is very good at raising people's curiosity on bad words! (teaching.com much? hehe)

But how did I discover that? Well Nitro Type seems to use that filter check against the Account Setings page. Only difference: it actually tells you what word might be offensive. And how did I find that part out? Well because my fictional last name: Peacock is offensive wah...

So yep, time for another userscript idea if MOTD keeps beating me down sobs. I did enough research, no account password required as originally intended on the Account Settings page hehe. I just need to see if it has a character limit :/ (and whether NT admins might get a bit upset... the dark side... hehe)

Question to anyone #

Does anyone know where their offensive dictionary comes from? My guess was some third party API that provides it. I made some guess and assumed NT Devs are just Javascript Developers and using Node.JS and using some package from there... but with the dictionary, I don't think so. They are willing to block numbers like 420, 69, 666... it's that "offensive" :(

And yes, I know about the special fancy font characters to get around MOTD offensive filter... but ew, no thanks hehe.
